- │ Knights of Xentar │
- │ ====== RELEASE DATE FOR KNIGHTS OF XENTAR : FALL 1994 ====== │
- │ New title for Dragon Knight III │
- │ │
- │ Megatech announces a title change in their upcoming CD-ROM (disk version │
- │ available less digitized speech) role-playing game. Originally planned for │
- │ marketing as Dragon Knight III, Megatech's new game is Knights of Xentar. │
- │ The game, based on Anime (an-ih-MAY) graphics from the Japanese hit movie │
- │ and #1 PC game Dragon Knight III, includes riveting game action, driven by │
- │ an exciting, droll script. │
- │ │
- │ Knights of Xentar is even more awesome compared to our first two titles in │
- │ response to players feedback, and it will continue to entertain our │
- │ core group of players, says Kenny Wu, Megatech's program director. Our │
- │ first two games were on diskette. Now, CD-ROM makes our spectacular │
- │ graphics and full-bore action more tantalizing than ever. │
- │ │
- │ Featuring Anime, the Japanese cartooning art of lissome beauties with very │
- │ large eyes, bright hair colors, and exaggerated physical attributes! The │
- │ game action is all-American, with a clever script, likable characters, and │
- │ compelling plot. │
- │ │
- │ Our hero Desmond, is on a quest to find the enchanted Falcon Sword and the │
- │ Gems of Adriana keys to ridding Xentar of the dark forces. His sidekick, │
- │ Rolf, helps him square off against dragons, demons, monsters and other │
- │ well-wrought fantasy-kingdom bad guys. Scenes of battle are followed by │
- │ restful sequences with local maidens, who really know how to thank │
- │ conquering heroes. What's a rescued damsel supposed to do? │
- │ │
- │ The loyal companions, who battle foes together, don't realize that the │
- │ Dark Knight who's always one step ahead of them is really the son of │
- │ Deimos, the King of Darkness. The Dark Knight and Desmond are destined by │
- │ fate to fight one another to the death as grand finale of the game. │
- │ │
- │ The game features a 16-bit soundtrack, colorful VGA graphics by Atsushi │
- │ `Wild Bill' Misado and 100% digitized speech, a cinch to draw you into │
- │ the action. │
- │ │
- │ Megatech, which is dedicated to promoting an industry-wide rating system, │
- │ voluntarily rates its own games. Knights of Xentar will bear the NR-13 │
- │ rating, which means it's not recommended for players under 13. But no │
- │ need to worry, the NR-18 upgrade diskette will ship FREE when you order │
- │ directly from Megatech. │
- │ │
- │ Download the free demo directly from this BBS or from Compuserve's GAMDPUB │
- │ forum, section 10 (type GO GAMDPUB). │
